The person behind the lens.
My name is Ash. I’m a 24 year old, self taught photographer who was born and raised in Arvada, Colorado. I’ve been taking photos for about 10 years, and shooting professionally for 5 of those years!
My interests lie all over the board, but my passion is for portraits of both people and animals. I also enjoy landscape and macro photography, among many other styles!
I’m a safe space for all, including BIPOC and members of the LGBTQ+ community. All people are beautiful and deserve to have photos that make them feel that way.
2013
I started by taking photos with a Nokia phone. About 5 years later I bought my first DSLR camera and stepped into the full world of photography. I’ve taught myself everything I know. It’s been a long journey to get to where I am now, and I couldn’t be more proud. I believe my work shows my passion.
My interests fall all over, but my passion lies with portraits. One of my favorite experiences is watching someone’s face when they see a portrait of themself, or bringing an animal’s soul to life through a photo.
I own two horses, Misty and Dixie. They’re my entire world, and who I work hard for. They are my inspiration. A lot of my photography focus is of them!
